Feeling so blessed

I have so much to be thankful for...

**I want to Thank our friends and family for your love and support with Jeff's illness. We are preparing for the long haul and that means change for our family. Jeff has stablized for now, which means no new symptoms and he is learning to cope with the ones he has. We are learning, as a family, to adjust to Jeff's good days and bad days...I don't like to talk about those :( We CAN do this!!! We CAN live healthy productive lives. That statement means something different for every family. It's not like it used to be but I know and understand things happen for a reason. Over the last couple of months, I've grieved over the life we used to have together and I let it go, I had too. I am now looking forward and feeling very Thankful for what we have together now. Thanks for letting me lean on you when I wasn't strong enough. It's tough but worth it. So when we are able to get a day away as a family doing what we love...I'm documenting it in every way to remind me on the tough days, it can and it does get better.

~Jeff was able to go hiking on Monday in Red Rock Canyon approx. 20 minutes East of LV

This was Jarrin's first experience rock climbing with his Dad...he did great! The trail was maybe a mile round trip with a seasonal waterful at the end. It doesn't compare to Zions National Park or anything. It has been a couple years for us since we've hiked any kind of trail so we had tons of fun! I can't wait to go back to Red Rock and explore new trails. Jarrin had a smile on his face all day long :) I'm so proud of my children, they are great little hikers! ** Jeff still has a fractured foot-I think it took him 3 days to recover from this, but he says it was all worth the pain...lol! We needed this quick getaway for our family. Doing things outdoors is very energizing for us. It felt so good to get out of the city!

~ Jarrin loves reading-I've mentioned before that reading for him has been a chore, NOT anymore! He is currently reading and enjoying... Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone, Star Wars The Clone Wars and Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Last Straw

~I have the opportunity to LOVE you! I find so much of my self worth in Loving others... THANK YOU!

~Jaliece just had a growth spurt, she told me today that I was her best friend. I taught her to say BFF (best friend forever) soooo cute! We sing songs together..she melts my heart.

~I'm so thankful to be working in a field that I LOVE, when so many are not able to because of the economy.
