Jarrin's new hobby

With help from family and our awesome nieghbors the Byrd family, Jarrin started a new hobby~ BMX racing. There is a track here in town called Nellis BMX where kids can practice and race. Last Saturday, Jarrin started practice and fell a couple of times. There is a volunteer medic at the track ( I would like to meet him and see what training he has, any mom would ) Jarrin wasn't too sure he wanted to go back. With a little encouraging, he went back to practice on Tuesday and did great...no falls. I think this gave him the confidence boost needed to continue on with this interest and there is a great life lesson in all of this...if you fall down, get up, just kidding you know what I mean...lol

Jarrin raced all three Motos (races) and took 4th place. Keep up the great work buddy! We are proud of you!!
The barbeque hot dogs were so yummy. Jaliece ate the entire hot dog. Jeff and I will also get the opportunity to volunteer. I look forward to spending many fun Saturdays as a family

My best freind's younger brother does BMX racing also, and that means that I get to babysit their baby sister. So I like it too! :)

I'd think it was pretty dangerous with all the gear he has to wear, but it actually looks like a lot of fun. And it's a great way to keep active, doing something you love. That hot dog was bigger than Jaliece!
