Happy Birthday Jaliece

I was looking through Jaliece's photos from the last five years and thinking not much has changed...

She is a nurturer to all...

She has a special place in her heart for that soft snuggly bear

She LOVES babies...

Enjoys snuggling up to Daddy and taking naps with him

Is fun loving, especially at Jarrin's expense

Has commanded the LOVE and attention from her big brother since the first day she came home

Jaliece was born two days before Mother's day with an olive complexion like her dad. She has brown eyes. Noone in our immediate family has them making hers even more beautiful.

She has a deep and mature LOVE for her friends and family. She consistantly talks about Cousins, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles and friends like she had visited with them that very day...saying things like how much she enjoyed doing this or asking when can we visit them again? When she plays make believe, she speaks fondly of her loved ones as if they were in the room playing along with her.

Some things she enjoys are Hello Kitty, loving our cat Nala, playing Wii tennis and bowling, playing dress up, interested in medicine, wants to be a cop, paramedic and a doctor, painting her nails..she's very good! Playing with her babies and naming all of them, the park, hiking, playing in the dirt but making sure she looks good doing it, going to church mostly to see her friends, webkinz, playing on the computer, coloring, growing her own vegetables in our nieghbors garden~LOVES that! She can say the prayer for food on her own. She is almost there with her own prayers and says "I can do it" if we remind her at all. So she will begin and then pause we will guide her but usually cuts us off with "I can do it"...then another pause and so on...some nights are better then others and I think its the cutest thing ever!!

Some things she says are "discusting" or that she can't stand: dead bugs, sushi, old drinks that taste funny, having her hair done, dirty bathrooms~ it must be up to her standards.

Jaliece gave her first talk a couple months ago. She did an excellent job, taking it very seriously! I can see her testimony growing in leaps and bounds. We love her so much and feel blessed for the joy she brings to this family.
