Late night posts.....

I can't sleep so I thought it would be fun to blog.....we'll see just how fun when I read this in the morning. Jarrin likes his 4th grade teacher. Last year was a struggle for us....new school + new teacher = a crappy year. His teacher this year, is a seasoned teacher who seems to have won the hearts of her students and their parents only after 5 days. Jarrin actually wants to attend school now, yay! The teacher makes all the difference. Jaliece has a cold with touch of the croup. When she doesn't feel well she becomes extra sweet, telling us she "lubs" ( loves ) us often, stroking my hair and wanting to snuggle, it's too cute. It's been a couple of days and seems to be just to the point where she may start to feel better...keep your fingers crossed :) Jeff's pancreus sp? test came back normal. No problems..yay! However, we did get some crappy news about his esophegus and some other stuff. Jeff had an endoscopy/colonoscopy this week. So if I was looking on the bright side tonight, which I'm not, usually do but don't feel like tonight...sorry, we seem to be narrowing down some of his problems that he has had the last couple of months. He has some nerve/tissue damage in his colon, that will hopefully be addressed soon. The docs brought up UCLA Mayo clinic again. I asked what causes this and he said the person who figures that one out would get a nobel prize. So if anyone wants to fix this prob.... so anyway some biopsies were taken. We haven't seen the surgen about the tumor yet, it's the least of our problems right now...no worries I still have my black marker. Jeff is doing pretty well considering. I was just thinking posts are more fun with pics. I have an old fashion camera aka a non digital one, that takes great pics. The downside to that is having to wait for them to be developed. I will post Jarrin's first day as soon as I finish this roll....roll that's so 90's. My first night shift went great! Nights are definately a different animal. The first day after working that night was difficult for me to sleep but after the next shift I had no trouble sleeping during the day. I got to meet some great people and I was blessed to get great partners, one of which was a member of the church. He told me awesome stories of how he was blessed on calls....so cool! I will work an event on Monday at the MGM Grand. This will be my first event so of course I'm excited :) Thanks for keeping us in your prayers.. we are praying for you too. We are aware of how blessed we are and it means so much to us. Good night :)
