Thanksgiving weekend in Tuscon. We arrived in rainy Tuscon the night of Thanksgiving. Jeff wasn't feeling so well and we decided to take it easy on the drive. That night we enjoyed yummy leftovers from a lovely dinner. This pic is of my nieces with Jarrin and Jaliece. Tanner, my nephew is taking the pic. He did a great job! Thanks Tanner.
This is the "FORT" that the cousins have been working on.

The pathway to the "FORT"

I like to keep my eyes open for "signs" that we are headed in the right direction.....This is our view from our Hotel room. It's the L.A. Temple. I opened up the curtains at dusk and found a beautiful sight....its gotta be a "sign". I instantly felt some peace.

Me messing around in the Hotel room
Writing down all of Jeff's meds. I'm sitting in the Docs chair....hmm maybe medical school is in my future....maybe not!

Jeff in the waiting room. Our visit was amazing! Dr. Mayer is an Angel! He gave us some hope of a plan. We do have to return after the first of the year for more tests but we are hopeful that Jeff can someday have a better quality of life. Thank you Dr. Mayer and the Gasterenterology team at UCLA!

We left L.V. around 7:30 am. We arrived at UCLA Medical Center approx. 1:30 pm. , parked the car ( paid $11.00 ) geesh! and went straight upstairs to Jeff's appointment.

This a pic of the Los Angeles skyline

Arriving in L.A. Wednesday morning....

What do you do when your kids are away.....grab a camera and make funny faces! This is the night of my Birthday

Pic of the kids in the car with Grandpa and Grandma Donalson

and then of them leaving Saturday morning.....

Grandpa and Grandma Donalson invited Jarrin and Jaliece to travel with to Elliot and Amy's (Jeff's sister ) home in Tuscon for Thanksgiving. They were really excited to spend time with family and get away from mom and dad ;).
